Oxidatively stable, does not go rancid. In cosmetics it works as a structurant and emollient in creams, balms and sticks. It gives a firm, creamy texture, light occlusion (retains water in the skin) and serves as a replacement for mineral oil and paraffin in clean formulas. Use levels run from 2 to 10%.
