Evigrade

Longevity and anti-aging biohacking (marketing category)

Marketing category for substances sold as «life extension», «sirtuin activation», «telomere protection» and «cellular rejuvenation». This includes resveratrol, NMN, NR, spermidine, fisetin, quercetin, saffron and dozens of other supplements. EFSA has approved no longevity claim. Most data come from yeast, nematodes and mice. Human RCTs with mortality or lifespan endpoints do not exist. NIH and USPSTF 2022 hold that supplements in healthy adults do not lower mortality or slow biological aging. Real proven longevity factors: smoking cessation, blood-pressure and glucose control, physical activity, a Mediterranean diet pattern and adequate sleep.

  • DBenefit not proven, no documented harm
