Age-related skin changes (wrinkles, elasticity)
Not recommended
Spermidine is a polyamine found in cells and sold as a supplement (often from wheat germ) with claims that it slows skin aging, smooths wrinkles, and restores firmness. No convincing benefit for age-related skin changes has been shown – there is no evidence base for this use, only lab data and theory. Taken orally at usual doses spermidine is harmless, but you should not expect it to affect wrinkles or elasticity. What actually changes aging skin is daily sun protection (SPF) and topical retinoids, which have proven effects.
