Mechanism
Capecitabine is a 5-FU prodrug, same fatal mechanism via brivudine DPD inhibition.
Symptoms
Severe myelosuppression, grade III hand-foot syndrome, mucositis, diarrhoea.
Management
Combination contraindicated. Minimum 4-week washout.
