Mechanism
Citalopram is an SSRI. Combined with phenelzine causes serotonin syndrome. FDA Nardil Section 4 strict contraindication.
Symptoms
Hyperthermia, myoclonus, tachycardia, hypertension.
Management
Combination contraindicated. 2-week washout.
