Mechanism
Cobicistat inhibits CYP3A4 (quinidine metabolism) and itself prolongs PR via MATE1 inhibition. Quinidine concentration rises, additive QT effect.
Symptoms
QT prolongation, torsades de pointes.
Management
Combination contraindicated.
