DCalcium D-glucarateNot recommended · Calcium salt of D-glucaric acid (food supplement under Spanish RD 1487/2009)Calcium D-glucarate is sold as a supplement for so-called estrogen detox, on the idea that it slows the gut enzyme beta-glucuronidase and speeds estrogen clearance. For this use there is no solid evidence that it changes hormone levels or affects health. If you are worried about estrogen excess or related symptoms, a gynecologist or endocrinologist can look into the cause, which a supplement cannot do. The substance itself is well tolerated at usual doses.
