Mechanism
Both are 5-HT1B/1D vasoconstrictors. Additive coronary and peripheral vasospasm. FDA – at least 24-hour washout.
Symptoms
Myocardial ischaemia, stroke within hours.
Management
Combination contraindicated. At least 24 hours between doses.
