Creams, toners, hair masks, shampoos (0.5–3%). Often in damaged-hair formulas with arginine and glycine. In Spain in Martiderm and Sesderma lines. Evidence base. No topical clinical RCTs; lysine HCl is treated as functionally equivalent to free lysine. CIR confirmed safety. Safety. Hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic. Pregnancy and lactation – topically safe.
