INCI: Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer
Crosslinked high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid that stays longer on the skin surface. Provides prolonged moisturizing compared to regular sodium hyaluronate.
Topical application
BLimited evidence. One RCT or several controlled studies with limitations.
Small clinical studies show longer-lasting hydration than uncrosslinked hyaluronate. Does not penetrate the dermis – functions as a surface moisture-retaining agent. Few independent comparative RCTs.
Crosslinked Sodium Hyaluronate (Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer) is a high-MW hyaluronic acid with additional bonds between polymer chains. Crosslinking slows hyaluronidase degradation and prolongs retention on the skin. Mechanism. Forms a more durable hydrating film on the skin than plain sodium hyaluronate. Delivers a longer-lasting 'plump' feel and 2-3 times slower hydrolysis. Not to be confused with injectable crosslinked fillers (Juvederm, Restylane): the crosslinking, degree and application site are entirely different. Where applied. Mid and premium serums and creams (0.1-1%), masks, eye patches, post-procedure care. In Spain – Sesderma Reti Age Serum, Isdin Isdinceutics Hyaluronic Booster, Mesoestetic Hydra-Vital Factor K. Evidence base. Claimed effect – prolonged hydration over regular hyaluronate. Direct randomized comparisons are scarce; vendors (Soliance, Lubrizol) show TEWL differences over 12-24 hours. The real benefit shows on dry skin in air-conditioned environments. Safety. CIR has not issued a separate report on the crosslinked polymer but classifies all hyaluronate forms as safe. Non-sensitizing, non-comedogenic. No systemic absorption through intact skin. Pregnancy and lactation – safe. Topical use at any stage.

The Evigrade extension adds an evidence panel to Wildberries, Goldapple, Letu, iHerb, Sephora and 12 more stores. This ingredient and every other one in the product show evidence-tier, allergen risk and pregnancy/lactation flags at a glance.
Sodium Hyaluronate (Crosslinked, High MW) is considered safe during pregnancy at typical cosmetic concentrations. Systemic absorption through the skin is minimal.
Sodium Hyaluronate (Crosslinked, High MW) suits: oily, dry, sensitive, combination, normal.
