This is a functional ingredient, not a skincare active. Its job is to cleanse and dissolve, not to improve skin on its own. No skincare result should be expected from it. Because of its topical use and lack of systemic relevance, it can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding without concern. Tolerance is high.
