Mechanism
Lovastatin is a CYP3A4 sensitive substrate (like simvastatin). Cobicistat causes 30-fold rise. EMA Tybost Section 4.3.
Symptoms
Rhabdomyolysis within 5–10 days.
Management
Combination contraindicated. Pravastatin or rosuvastatin.
