Strong CYP3A4 inducer. Ritonavir falls 35%, darunavir/atazanavir within regimen fall 80%. ART failure.
Symptoms
Rising viral load.
Management
Combination contraindicated. Alternatively for TB – switch rifampicin to rifabutin (weaker induction).
