Inert formulation ingredient. Safe, no standalone activity.
Hexapeptide-11 is a yeast-derived hexapeptide of 6 amino acids isolated from an enzymatic hydrolysate of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Marketed as an "anti-senescence" peptide. Where applied. Anti-aging serums, mature skin creams (0.5-3% commercial complex). Common in premium formulas. Evidence base. In vitro work in fibroblast cultures (Tan 2014): cellular senescence reduction by 25-40% over 6 days. Almost no clinical RCTs of topical use. Marketing outpaces the evidence base. Safety. CIR has not made a separate assessment. Contact reactions are rare at standard cosmetic concentrations. Pregnancy – safe. Lactation – no data.

SafeThe Evigrade extension adds an evidence panel to Wildberries, Goldapple, Letu, iHerb, Sephora and 12 more stores. This ingredient and every other one in the product show evidence-tier, allergen risk and pregnancy/lactation flags at a glance.
Hexapeptide-11 is considered safe during pregnancy at typical cosmetic concentrations. Systemic absorption through the skin is minimal.
