In cosmetics it is used as a supporting ingredient with a mild anti-aging leaning and protection against oxidative stress. It appears in serums and creams aiming for a firmer, more luminous look. On efficacy, a measured assessment. The berry concentrates more ginsenosides than the root and shows good antioxidant activity in the lab, but topical clinical evidence for firmness is still limited.
