A nourishing antioxidant extract. Safe.
Triticum Vulgare Germ Extract is a wheat germ extract, rich in vitamin E and fatty acids. Its INCI is Triticum Vulgare Germ Extract. In a formula it nourishes the skin and adds antioxidant action against free radicals. As a nourishing, antioxidant plant extract it plays a reasonable supporting role: it brings lipids and tocopherols that care for the surface and the skin's feel. It is not a deep-transformation active, more a good hydrating and protective companion within the formula. Topically it has no systemic relevance, so it can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Tolerance is good and irritation and allergy risk are low. It comes from wheat, so people with a known wheat allergy should check the list, though topical reactions are uncommon.
