Artemisia Princeps Extract (Japanese and Korean mugwort) is an extract of the aerial parts of East Asian mugwort. Contains eupatilin, jaceosidin, sesquiterpenes, flavonoids, essential oils. Claimed mechanism. Anti-inflammatory action via NF-κB suppression and lower IL-1β, TNF-α production (in vitro). Antioxidant activity from eupatilin. Korean traditional medicine ('ssuk') uses it for skin inflammation, postpartum baths, dyspepsia. Where applied. K-beauty sensitive-skin lines (0.1–1%), masks, soothing serums.
