Cyclodextrin is a cyclic oligosaccharide of 6-8 glucose units with a hydrophobic inner cavity. INCI: Cyclodextrin. In cosmetics it traps odor molecules (odor absorbers in deodorants) and stabilizes unstable actives (retinol, vitamin C). Use levels run from 0.1 to 2%. Pregnancy-safe.
