Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin is a derivative of cyclodextrin, a ring sugar with a cavity inside the molecule. INCI: Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin. In a formula it works as a stabilizer and carrier: it captures other substances in its cavity, raises their solubility and stability, masks odors, and helps controlled release of actives.
