It brings comfort and texture, and fatty acids like linolenic fit the skin's lipid profile well, but you should not expect it to correct wrinkles or pigmentation. Fatty acid glycerides have no meaningful systemic absorption topically, so they can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Tolerance is high, with low irritation and allergy potential, which makes it suitable for sensitive skin.
