Oleic/Linoleic/Linolenic Polyglycerides are a blend of polyglyceryl esters of unsaturated fatty acids (oleic, linoleic, linolenic). INCI: Oleic/Linoleic/Linolenic Polyglycerides. In a formula it works as an emollient and co-emulsifier: it softens skin, helps hold the emulsion, and carries essential fatty acids related to barrier lipids. It is a functional softening component with a barrier rationale from its fatty-acid makeup rather than a strong standalone active. Pregnancy safety. Systemic absorption through intact skin is low and there is no evidence of harm. It can be used during pregnancy and lactation. Tolerance. Irritation and allergen potential are low, suitable for dry and sensitive skin.
