Leonurus Sibiricus Extract is derived from the aerial parts of the plant. Contains iridoids (leonuride), flavonoids (rutin, quercetin), alkaloids (leonurine, stachydrine). Mechanism. In vitro leonurine suppresses pro-inflammatory cytokines in macrophages (Liu 2018), flavonoids act as antioxidants. On skin works as a soothing ingredient in traditional Eastern phytotherapy.
