Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate is a nonionic emulsifier based on polyglycerin and polyhydroxystearic acid. INCI: Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate. In a formula it holds water-in-oil emulsions: it binds the water and oil phases of rich creams and balms so they do not separate. It is a functional component, not a skincare active.
