Prunus Armeniaca Seed Powder is apricot kernel powder. In cosmetics it acts as a plant abrasive: it mechanically exfoliates the skin in scrubs and masks, sweeping dead cells off the surface. This is a functional ingredient with a specific role, physical exfoliation. On its own it does not treat wrinkles or pigmentation; the skin looks smoother because the surface is polished. Its effect depends on particle size: a fine, rounded grind is reasonable, while large angular grains can be harsh. In topical use it has no systemic relevance, so it can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Irritation and allergy potential of the material itself are low, but because of its mechanical action it does not suit every skin. On sensitive skin, with rosacea or inflammatory acne, scrubbing can damage and worsen the condition. Best used with light pressure, not too often, and dropped if the skin reacts.
