Korean skincare with short formulas and named actives

COSRX is a Korean skincare brand founded in Seoul in 2013. The name joins "cosmetics" with "Rx," the shorthand for a prescription, and that idea shaped the house style: short ingredient lists where each item has a job, with little fragrance and few decorative extras. In 2023 the brand joined Amorepacific Group, one of South Korea's largest beauty companies.
A handful of products built its reputation. The Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence, with a high share of snail secretion filtrate; the gentle Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser; the Acne Pimple Master Patch for spot care; and the BHA Blackhead Power Liquid, an acid exfoliant. Recurring actives across the ranges include snail mucin, centella asiatica, propolis, betaine salicylate, and PDRN.
This page gathers COSRX products with their formulas broken down. Each one shows its full INCI list next to an evidence rating: a traffic-light mark and a tier from A to F, plus notes on use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Evigrade is an independent ingredient reference, not a shop and not a substitute for professional advice. It lets you compare what a label promises with what research actually says about each component.

COSRX is known for short formulas and concentrated actives such as snail mucin and betaine salicylate at an accessible price. Whether a given product suits your skin comes down to its ingredients and your own tolerance. Its Evigrade page shows the full INCI list and an evidence rating for each component.
COSRX is sold through Korean-beauty retailers, general marketplaces, and many pharmacies and drugstores online. Evigrade does not sell products; here you will only find the breakdown of what is inside them.
Several of the brand's formulas keep the ingredient list short and skip fragrance, which people with reactive skin often look for, though some products contain acids and other actives that not everyone tolerates. Check each product's INCI on its page to see what it contains.
It is the brand's best-known product, an essence with a high share of snail secretion filtrate. On Evigrade you can look up the evidence level for snail mucin and for the other ingredients in the formula.
