This is a functional conditioning component, not a treatment active. It improves feel and manageability, with no proven corrective action on the skin. Topically it has no systemic relevance, so it can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Tolerance is good: low irritation and allergy potential. Since it is largely used in rinse-off formats, prolonged skin contact is minimal. No worrying comedogenic profile.
