Peach Flower Extract (Prunus Persica Flower Extract) is a hydro-ethanolic extract of peach tree flowers. Active components are flavonoids (rutin, quercetin), phenolic acids, naphthoquinones. Mechanism. Antioxidant action via free radical neutralization. Mild brightening effect via tyrosinase suppression in vitro. Where applied. Korean brightening serums and toners, products in sensitive-skin lines. Rare in Europe. Concentration 0.5–3%. Evidence base. Virtually no human clinical RCTs; evidence is in vitro and folkloric. CIR has not published a separate assessment. Pregnancy and lactation – topically safe at cosmetic concentrations. Hypoallergenic.
