Polyquaternium-67 is a synthetic cationic conditioning polymer based on cellulose. INCI: Polyquaternium-67. In a formula it works as a conditioning agent and film former: the positively charged molecule is drawn to skin and hair, smooths the surface, removes static, adds softness, and eases combing. It is a functional component, common in shampoos and conditioners, rather than a skincare active. Pregnancy safety. The polymer does not penetrate skin, is systemically negligible, and there is no evidence of harm. It can be used during pregnancy and lactation. Tolerance. Irritation and allergen potential are low, suitable for sensitive skin.
