This is a functional ingredient, not a skincare active. It works on texture and color spread, not on wrinkles or pigment. Its role is sensory and supportive. Because of its topical use and lack of systemic relevance, it can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding without concern. Tolerance is good: low irritation and allergy potential. It has a slight comedogenicity, so on oily or acne-prone skin it is worth watching how it behaves, especially in heavy occlusive formulas. On most skin it causes no trouble.
