BLimited evidence. One RCT or several controlled studies with limitations.
An antioxidant plant extract. Safe.
Noni fruit extract (INCI: Morinda Citrifolia Fruit Extract) comes from a tropical fruit with polyphenols, vitamins, and other compounds. In cosmetics it is used for its antioxidant profile and for supporting skin tone and comfort, mostly in anti-aging and revitalizing formulas. As an active it is supporting. Noni carries a loud reputation in supplements and drinks, but applied to the skin the antioxidant effect is mild and the specific clinical base is modest. It is better treated as a pleasant botanical complement than as a transformative active. For topical use there is no relevant systemic risk. It can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Tolerance is good, with low irritation and allergy potential, fine for sensitive skin. It is not noted as comedogenic or drying.
