Cranberry fruit water (INCI: Vaccinium Macrocarpon Fruit Water) is the aqueous fraction obtained from cranberry. In a formula it works as a water phase with a small load of antioxidants and fruit acids, giving light hydration and a toning touch. This is a functional supporting ingredient. As a fruit water it partly replaces the formula's water and adds an antioxidant fraction, but its active concentration is low; it is not a corrective treatment. Topically it has no systemic relevance, so it can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Good tolerance: low risk of irritation and allergy, suitable for sensitive skin. It adds no oily load, fine for all skin types.
