Grape juice is the liquid obtained by pressing grapes (Vitis vinifera). INCI: Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Juice. In a formula it works as a water-based moisturizing base and a mild conditioning component: it carries sugars, organic acids, and trace polyphenols, and gives skin softness. Like grape water, in terms of strength it is not a concentrated antioxidant active but a pleasant hydrating base. A noticeable anti-aging effect is more likely from concentrated seed extracts than from juice. Pregnancy safety. Topical use, low systemic absorption, no evidence of harm. It can be used during pregnancy and lactation. Tolerance. Irritation and allergen potential are low, suitable for sensitive skin.
