Oat Sprout Oil (INCI: Avena Sativa Sprout Oil) is the well-known Rhealba ingredient proprietary to A-Derma. It comes from cultivated oat sprouts and supplies lipids and soothing compounds. In a formula it works as an emollient and conditioning ingredient for sensitive, reactive skin. On efficacy: Rhealba oat sprout extract has brand studies pointing to a soothing effect and barrier support. It is reasonable to see it as a good comfort-and-emollience ingredient rather than a transformative active. It softens and soothes without overreaching claims. Applied topically it has no systemic relevance, so it can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding without concern. Tolerance is good: irritation and allergy are low, and it is designed for sensitive skin. Comedogenicity is very low, suitable for combination skin too.
