BLimited evidence. One RCT or several controlled studies with limitations.
A nourishing plant emollient. Safe.
INCI Moringa Oil/Hydrogenated Moringa Oil Esters combines moringa oil with its hydrogenated esters. The result is an emollient that nourishes and softens while leaving a light protective film on the skin. It gives a silky finish and eases the feeling of tightness. On efficacy, this is a functional barrier- and texture-care component, not a corrective active. It improves comfort and flexibility of dry skin, without proven action on wrinkles or pigmentation. Topically it has no systemic impact, so it can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Tolerance is good: low irritation and allergy potential. Comedogenicity is low (level 1); on very oily skin only dense formulas deserve attention. Since it is plant-derived, an individual reaction is possible but uncommon.
