Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran is rice bran, the outer layer of the grain. It supplies lipids, B-group vitamins and antioxidants, and in cosmetics it is used as a mild emollient and, in powder products, as an agent that cleanses gently thanks to its fine texture. It appears in powder cleansers, masks and softening formulas. On efficacy, place it correctly. As whole bran it is mainly an emollient and very gentle mechanical exfoliant, with a modest contribution of vitamins and antioxidants. It is a supporting and texture component, not a concentrated active with proven clinical brightening or anti-aging effect. For topical use in pregnancy and breastfeeding there are no risk signals. Systemic absorption from skin is minimal, so it can be used in these stages. Tolerance is good. Low irritation and low allergy potential, suitable for sensitive skin. In powder formulas, apply gently to avoid over-scrubbing. Most people see no reactions.
