Saito 2012 (Clin Cosmet Investig Dermatol) in 207 women with post-acne marks and uneven tone: daily use of 6% Galactomyces ferment filtrate improved texture and tone over 12 weeks. Hwang 2017: pore size reduction over 8 weeks. Sources mainly from Korean and Japanese brand research centers; few independent RCTs. Safety. CIR confirmed safety. Hypoallergenic in most cases. Patients allergic to brewer's yeast and Malassezia (seborrheic dermatitis, fungal acne) may react. Mild irritation in the first 1-2 weeks in sensitive skin. Pregnancy – safe.
